You may be right, it would be nice to think so, but then again, so many other 'nursery rhymes have sinister, or political, or satrirical origins or undertones that you do have to wonder. Also, many existed for centuries before being written down. And, if you have kids, you'll know that there's no such thing as a 'simple game'. Even The Shadow doesn't know what evil lurks in the hearts of children!
