You know your own kid best, and it seems to me that this has been going on longer than just their teens.

What worries me is that most teenagers change identities quicker than a spy with ADHD! They try on a lot of selves before they find the right one. So a teenager who decides they're a transgender Emo at 15 might be being a non-binary Steampunk by 15-and-a-half and end up a cisgender Goth by 16. You have to be careful, is all I'm saying.

I've always been cisgender (though never 'macho'), but went through heterosexual and bisexual behaviours before realising I am asexual (heteroromantic). So it's not always cut and dried.

I'm not saying don't do anything, just be absolutely sure that nothing irreversible gets done before everybody's sure.
