You choice, of course. But I have spent my entire adult life helping people. Black, queer, male, female, anyone who wasn't getting fair and proper treatment I will admit I played hardball and that it screwed my career and got me fired more than enough times. But it was the right thing to do.

Now I don't know if you saw the Authors' response to my comment, but I assure you it was one of the most glaring examples of the attack ad hominem I've seen in a long time. I responded to that as it deserved. After 40 years in the trenches, doing the real work for equality and fairness, I will not be talked down to by some overprivileged kid! They have the right to disagree with me, but not to publicly disrespect me or accuse me of being a Nazi apologist.

As to 'seeing how I treat people on this platform', apart from a couple of thin-skinned fools, nobody else has objected. I am generally polite, though straight-talking. However, I do not claim to be a nice person and where someone has clearly taken it upon themselves to play god or to pontificate upon subjects about which they know little and understand less - the Wokeferatu and their shadow-siblings of MAGA, for instance - I will not hesitate to chastise them appropriately. If they then respond rudely, I will donate to the same level of quality at which I received.
