You can say that again! It is one of the most difficult games I've ever played. Not only do you play four different characters, but you know from the start that one of them is the serial killer you're hunting- you just don't know which! You have standard detective-type clue- following, tests of gaming skill and moral choices, as well as overcoming the various personal issues the characters have.

The 'Origami Killer' kidnaps small boys during the autumn and places them somewhere which will flood after a certain amount of seasonal rainfall. He leaves the bodies with an orchid and a piece of origami art. One of your characters is the already-traumatised father of the latest child to be kidnapped, who is forced to undergo a series of brutal 'tests' in order to find out where his son is in time to save him. Then there is the FBI profiler on the case, who struggles with painkiller addiction. The private detective investigating the crimes on behalf of one of the bereaved families, and the female investigative journalist who struggles with insomnia. Add in cops under pressure to close the case, drug dealers, gangsters, murderous therapists and a mysterious figure who appears to bump off anyone who might give a lead, and it's a proper tangle! There are up to twelve potential endings, depending upon the success and/or survival of the various characters.
