Why Progressives Should Regress
The fragmented left needs to get back to basics
The amazing suppleness shown by leaders and influencers on the Left or progressive side of politics may mark a new stage of human evolution. Never have I witnessed so many people able to effortlessly insert their craniums into their rectums and keep them there so long. Unfortunately, their intense examination their own digestive systems has prevented them from realising that their supporters and followers have lost the ability to differentiate between their cubitus and their anus.
In short, the Left have forgotten how to look at anything except their own, sectional, problems. It’s all about identity (their own), victimhood (their own) and being more oppressed by more people than any of the other guys are. It’s about being Black, a woman, trans, gay and various sections and subsections of all these oppressed or repressed groups. Obsessive examination of cultural artefacts both old and new, looking for representation and diversity. Demanding endless qualifications, exceptions and special circumstances in every law. Attempting to control language by forbidding old words and forcing clumsy neologisms on everyone.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all in favour of equality for everyone and everyone havng the right to be who they are without being hated or attacked for it.
