What is peculiar is that they never gave a reason for it. I mean, I can see where - depending on how the pitches are - there could be a problem. Some folk with caravans have awnings that more than double the space they take up. Two of those with doors facing each other would be a problem. Also, if the hard standing for your van is over to one side of your pitch, they might be worried about you intruding on next doors' pitch. I mean, sure, you could park it the other way about, but that would mean some finagling with your vehicle there might not be room for (nosing into the pitch rather than reversing might not be possible).

But it all comes back to the fact that they didn't say why, which is at best impolite. I mean, a lot of places say single-sex groups of young people aren't admitted, and everybody knows why. But somrthing this recherche requires explanation!

Glad we use a tent!
