Wealth=Resources*Energy. The error undermining not just capitalism but many other systems has been the assumption that resources and energy are infinite and thus that wealth can always be created. We now know that this is incorrect, so we must build new systems based upon an awareness of limited resource and energy and a more equitable distribution of the finite wealth produced.
