Um, tempted to give this a miss! Sounds too much like the original.

Because let's face it, they've had like 30 years to iron out the bugs in the system! To perfect a guidance system to eliminate random leaps. To get rid of the Swiss-cheese memory thing. Most of all, an effective retrieval system!

I know, I know, 60 years on and The Doctor still can't steer the TARDIS. But they don't want to! For the Quantum Leap project to be still in the same place after 30 years just doesn't ring true.
