This is difficult to say - it was hard for me to swallow - but this kind of thing only works with kids who are already bright and sensitive.

I'm a hard-bitten, disappointed old curmudgeon who often falls short of his own ideals these days. But I'm still, I hope, a little better than the folk - the people in authority, even - who I see conductng themselves without self-control or dignity even in public. Tearful, enraged, shouting and gesturing, gigglng like schoolgirls, laughing like hyaenas - don't they see how they lessen themselves?
