There are those out there who would say, given my mothers' treatment of me during childhood and adolescence, that I have reason, if not right, to be a misogynist. To them I say "How come?" My mother, fortunately, was only one person, and a damaged one at that. In what way could I justify extending my attitude toward her to other persons of the female persuasion?
This is my way of saying that I do not, and never have, understand misogyny. Misanthropy I get, my antipathy toward my own species in general is fairly obvious. Too many are noisy and intrusive. Far too many are as dim as so many Toc-H lamps. I can only tolerate so many.
So if anyone can tell me of any sane, reasonable or at least understandable cause for any otherwise whole man to specifically dislike or hate women, I'd be interested to hear it. That said, if a 'reason' is presented to me that falls short of the above criteria, the presenter should prepare to be flayed.
NB, I am aware that there are any number of women with fully understandable, rational and valid reasons to hate men. Misandry is often fully justifiable.
