The US is ultimately too large and diverse a nation to fall into fascism easily or totally. Individual States may do so, or at least attempt it (Texas and Florida spring to mind). But unless leaders can come up with a brand of fascism that is not racist (possible, they are not inextricably linked) then such a regime would be fragile at best.
Unfortunately, capitalism is written into your Constitution (I'm thinking about writing a piece on that). So unless that document is abandoned or at least substantialy revised, there is very limited scope for change.
