The late Paul Daniels was well-known for two segments in his Saturday night magic show. One was the 'Bunco Booth' where he exposed the con trikcs played by street hustlers (eg 'Find the Lady'). The other was 'Under Laboratory Condtions', where he undertook to replicate the feats of so-called psychics who had impressed scientists.

The problem is that those people - and there are some - who are genuine Psykers usually keep quiet about it. It's a scary talent to have and most try to ignore or suppress it.
