That's the issue with Neo-Feudalism - it works more on perception than anything else. Most of these people could be seen as cash poor because everything is done electronically, and they rely on credit. Don't know how it is in Germany, but here in the UK, fewer and fewer ordinary people use cash daily. Some places only take cash at specific tills, for instance.
If wealthy people had to back up their bank balances with genuine physical assets, most of them couldn't. Indeed, most countries lack sufficient bullion to redem the paper money they issue.
Neo-Feudalism isn't based on land, but on share-prices and credit ratings. it isn't abput hw muhc your serfs pay you in tribute, but how little you manage to pay them in wages. Hence the shift from skilled permament employees to contractors.
But just as the old aristocracy were lokced inot the land=wealth mindset until the cash-rich mercantile and business classes overtook them, so the modern overlords are dependent on people believing in capitalism. China have effectively tied themselves to thiis unstable and leaky vessel by shedding their Communist isolationism and engaging in the capitalist-controlled market.
This is a globsl market and econom, so the 'tanking' of one economy, even one as big as Americas', wonlg be enouhg to unseat them. Non-material assets can be moved with the press of a button.
The only way to pull them down from within is mass refusal to participate in the con. Basically, people taking matters into their own hands. That's why the number of people leaving their jobs to follow their 'side-hustles', and even the number demanding to freedom to work from home, is upsetting them so much. Also why they want to limit things like Tik-Tok and Etsy. They don't want anyone to have an alternative to working for them. They want people in the office, under the eyes of their overseers - sorry, managers - to make sure they know there's no other way!
The more people who grow their own food, or buy from independent farmers markets, or get things from small manufacturers or craftsmen, the less dependent they feel they are on the Neo-Feudal 'Lords' and the more they look for other alternatives. Even to the point of setting up for themselves.
The other way is to elect a truly left of centrre government who will tax those bastards until their eyeballs bleed.
