Thankfully, I've only ever written one tale where the characters rode horses, and I just indicated that both of them knew what they were doing and didn't go into details. I will henceforth avoid equestrian matters as I would the plague! Thanks for preventing me doing something daft.

I did have some characters ride giant bats once, but the techniques are very different!
