Take a dozen of 'em. Lock them in a room with an electric cooker, a cupboad full of tinned food, pots, pans and cutlery. Add a dial telephone, a transistor radio, an old-styleTV that doesn't have a remote, a shelf full of books, some vinyl records and a player. Leave instructions for everything, written on paper in copperplate handwriting. See what they can figure out and how long it takes them.
