Speaking as a Bear of Very Little Brain myself, I am often perplexed at the inability of supposedly highly intelligent and qualified people to see the simple solution to any problem, instead creating further complexities by way of solution and almost inevitably compounding the problem! Is intelligence, I wonder, based upon the utter inability to perceive the bleeding obvious!
