So God exists? So what?

The Universe is certainly inimical, if not actively hostile, to life. Eight planets in this solar system and only one supports life. Life which hangs on by a thread in the face of solar flares, atmospheric decay (not all man-made) geological and tectonic shifts and the not-so-very-remote possibility of asteroid collision.

If a Supreme Being of some kind intentionaly created the Universe, it is eminently clear that life, including human life, was not high on their agenda, or their would be far more life-bearing planets inhabited by human or humanike creatures.

No, whatever 'God' is after, it has nothing to do with us. Bowing and scraping to a being who, even if they are aware of us, couldn't care less is a waste of everyones' time and effort.
