Really was a bit of a mess, wasn't it? Never saw the Netflix version, as that platform IMHO charges a lot more that its' content is worth!

It's always struck me as a shame that the BBC, with its' well-earned reputation for adapting literary classics, avoids fantasy and SF like the plague! If they'd done an I, Claudius on Dune, or even LOTR, it would have been worth watching! Brian Blessed as Tom Bombadil, anyone?
