Quite so. But do you, as I do, accept the idea that the physical sciences are limited in their scope and methodology, covering only a subset of experienced and perceived phenomena? If that is the case then their laws and views apply only to a subset of what is termed 'nature', if we define nature as those parts of the Universe that function without artificial intervention. Not all of nature is physical. Consciousness is undoubtedly a natural phenomenon, but one which physicalist science has yet to explain. Unfotunately, terms such as supernatural and paranormal carry sets of connotations which preclude the required 'blank slate' approach to these phenomena just as much as the physicalist approach does.
