Quite a number of these I have not seen. Nor will I see them, as they have no appeal for me as entertainment.
Forrest Gump I find eternally anoying. To me it is a work which glorifies stupidity, which as far as I am concerned is one of the most dangerous of human characteristics, as well as the most prevalent.
Blue Velvet has, in typical Lynch fashion, some admirable scenes and images. Sadly, it suffers from Lynchs' self-indulgence, whereby he throws ideas and images into the mix because he likes them, while seldom bothering as to whether or not the whole thing makes sense!
