Question: what possible motivation would a trans woman (even a not-fully-transitioned one) have for rape?

I can understand a cisgender man intent on rape cross-dressing in order to infiltrate a female space.

But rape is, I am given to understand, a uniquely male statement of either power or misogyny, sometimes both. Trans women, as women, would surely not possess this particular psychological flaw?

OK, so I'm a Bear of Very Little Brain, but if a 'non-transitioned trans woman', is actually able to, or wants to, rape another woman - cis or trans - it strikes me that there is something very wrong with them as a woman!
