Question. We agree that the Universe is conscious, because we are conscious and we are part of the Universe.

But:- does this consciousness in the Universe predate the evolution -anywhere in space and time - of conscious life-forms? In other words, are we a consequence of Universal consciousness, the cause of it, or a contributor to it?
