One of the phrases that encapsulates my 'spiritual', or at any rate, metaphysical, thinking is "I don't know."

Is there a God or gods? Is the life after physical death? Is there a plan or purpose for the Universe? What is humanitys' part in any such plan? Etc. etc.

Answer to all: I don't know, and neither does any other human!

Apart from that, I have an opinion, which is that a god who gives their creation free will, and then punishes them for exercising it, does not deserve worship. Unless psychopathic behaviour is divine?
