One cannot further reduce the already absurd!

Among the green campaigners, there are some who are wholly anti-technology and who will not rest until any tech more advanced than a watermill or hand-operated printing press is scrapped. I know these people; I grew up with some of them and I still hear about them sometimes. Usually when they get into trouble for trying to coppice trees or graze goats on land that doesn't belong to them! It only takes a few nutters to taint an entire movement

The petro-chemical industry is quick to pick up on this idiocy in order to ridicule and demonise all green campaigners in the eyes of the public. They have to safeguard their profits. They used fake statistics to demonise tobacco, for the same reason.
