Oh, dear! Of all the cinematic incarnations of The Batman, Keatons' is arguably the worst (having not seen Pattinsons' effort, admittedly). Miscasting on the scale of Stallone as Judge Dredd! Never mind.

As to superheroes, there's more than a little of the "Now we can do them properly, let's do them all!" about it. By 'properly', I mean with all the whizz-bang SFX and never mind plot or character! Not but what DC was leagues behind Marvel in the writing stakes for years, anyway!

I'm getting selective, I'll allow. A reboot of the X-Men in MCU clothing could go either way. I'm also sort of hoping somebody will make a good stab at the Spectre (one of the odder DC efforts). Beyond that I keep hoping for some other redos'. By that I mean proper, non-spoofy, versions of Doc Savage, the Phantom, The Shadow and the Green Hornet. The kind of 'Mystery Men' we used to get before the Big Blue Boy-Scout From Krypton messed it all up.
