'Objectivism' relies on the false premise that what we perceive is reality. It isn't, we are unable to preceive anything unfiltered by memory, upbringing, culture, place, time and so forth. Any 'fact' will always be distorted by who we are, who we hear it from, where we heard it and so forth.
