My experience, for what it's worth, is that the person who is an arsehole to Black people is very often an arsehole to everybody! Not a racist areshole, just and common or garden arsehole. So often I got called in to look at a case of racism, only to find that the accused wasn't racist at all, just an everyday bully. I mean, I still made sure they got fired, but for the proper reason.

My point being that PoC are far more willing - indeed eager - to position themselves as victims than white people in such situations. That's not good on several levels.
