Just a couple of things.

The plural of 'vomitorium' is 'vomitaria'. They don't teach Latin in schools anymore, and it shows!

Burning was not a punishment in Protestant English law, where witchcraft was a felony rather than a heresy. The Lancashire witches of Pendle were also hanged. Under Catholic canon law, witchcraft was a heresy, and burning was prescribed unless the alleged witch confessed and recanted the heresy, in those circumstances they were garroted (strangled) before being burnt.
