I've said before that I think a certain amount of tribalism is hard-wired into us by our evolution as pack-based hunter-gatherers.

But it is possible to decide who your 'tribe' is and it is possible to modify your atitude to other 'tribes'.

I like to think I belong to the Competent Straight-Talking Fair Play Tribe. A tribe characterised by attitude, rather than colour, culture, sexuality or gender. We don't hate any other tribes. Not even the Fools, though we don't suffer them gladly!
