It's a funny thing, but I've noticed that some folk will block or ignore commenters who raise rational, logical, courteous and well-constructed counter-arguments, while gleefully entering into ill-mannered slanging matches with others. It occurs to me that they feel comfortable in a 'who can shout loudest' contest where both participants can claim to have won regardless. However, when it comes to proper discussion and argument, they know they're on a hiding to nothing, so they block.

What's that word? It's one of thoise we're not supposed to use any more. Ah! Cowards!
