It is entirelty honest to say 'everything is natural', as long as we remain aware that there is much we do not perceive or understand, but which remains natural. Thus if fairies, goblins, ghosts, souls, honest politicians orother such creatures of myth are duly dicovered and explained, they willbe found to be natural even if the popular definition of natural must be extended.
Anyone who has truly observed and 'immersed themselves' in nature can only come away with the awareness of natures' indifference. Of the beautiful ruthlessness with which life confronts other life. Of the magnificent disregard with which natural phenomena such as weather, earthquakes and volcanoes destroy living beings and their habitats. There is much in nature that is sublime and awe-inspiring, but there is nothing 'cosy' about any of it.
