Interesting to hear from someone so very opposite to me! My good lady was given to complaints about my lack of interest in such matters when we were younger. She still is — despite the fact that we are in our 60s and should have left all that behind!

Of course in my youth (the seventies and eighties) I did not have the option of identifying as ‘asexual’, more’s the pity. Rather the reverse -one was expected to avidly seek sex at every opportunity! It would have made life far less complicated — being yourself always does.
