Indeed, as you say. But I have an autistic granddaughter with whom I seem to have a 'connection' - we understand each other more easily than Millie does the rest of the family, and I understand how she feels about certain things because I had the same experiences at her age. Now it may be just that 'Grandpa is special to her', as my wife says, but I've caught a few sideways glances from my daughter. I was wondering if it was worth taking a test or something? Though at 66, I can't see it making much difference!
