In the piece I was responding to, you asked primarily for American input. However, in an earlier response to a response of yours, I'd indicated that I am a Yorkshireman. I -not realising that you might not have read the pieces in the order I wrote them (because I'm an idiot) took it as read that you knew I wasn't American. I was therefore giving you tacit permission to ignore what I wrote if it's not germane to your needs.

That said, if there is anything this grizzled old class-warrior can do to help, get in touch. The Iron Code still means something to some of us LOL
