I'm not sure you quite got what I was saying. The problem with the 'woke' is the fact that they themselves belong exclusively to the privileged parts of society, and are simply saying things to signal their 'cool'. There is not a scrap of real conviction in any of 'em. They are not activists, they would not care to lift a carefully-manicured finger to actually change anything. Anybody who is actively trying to bring about change is not 'woke'. It's the difference between whining about under-representation and actually trying to get more minorities involved in things. Or to put it another way, two people may say the same things about LGBTQ+ representation, but the one who only talks within their own echo chamber is 'woke'. The one who is out there working for change is an activist.
