As far as Lewis is concerned, they consider the Pevensie children idiots. Lucys' encounter wth Tumnus: "Doesn't she know not to go off with strangers?". Edmund and the White Witch: "Doesn't he realise he's being played?" "Honestly, not even Ron Weasley would fall for that one!" "Father Christmas giving out lethal weapons? I thought he only did that in America!"

On the whole, they prefer Harry Potter. JKRs' prose may be pedestrian, but at least the voice isn't patronising! Kids, for good or ill, are no longer accustomed to being talked down to.
