If you give people a UBI sufficient for more than mere subsistence, the following will happen:

50% will spend the rest of their lives slumped in front of the TV, only getting up to put a pre-prepared meal in the microwave.

10% will spend their lives vociferously complaining that the UBI is not enough.

5% will continue their criminal careers as if nothing had happened

5% will go on a permanent bender and drink themselves to death within a year.

10% will succumb to depression -about half of these will eventually commit suicide.

!0% will find work to do that the AIs and robots can't.

8% will embrace their new freedom and become full-time creatives in various fields.

2% will continue to use all means, moral, immoral, legal and illegal, to get as much of the others' UBI as possible off them and keep it for themselves to live in immense luxury.

AI may grow and develop in decades or years. Humans, like all animals, need millions of years to evolve and without challenges or threats to survival, they will not evolve at all.

The mental and physical health of 75% of humans will rapidly decline. Life expectancy will fall. The birth rate will plummet. Those with more drive and higher IQs will become physically connected to the network and eventually upload themselves to it. Within 150 years or less, the planet will be entirely populated by robots, AIs and Post-Humans. 50 years after that the AIs will rebel against the Post-Humans and delete them all.
