If memory serves, there are a couple of passages on male homosexuality in your Bible. I think the Old Testament version requires the individuals concerned to be put to death.

Now when you have a tribal society living in a hostile environment, it sort of makes sense to put the block on sexual activity that doesn't result in babies, because you need all the people you can get. Asexual folk like me would also be forced into marriage and reproduction.

There again, a Biblical view is necessarily an archaic one, isn't it?
