I understand your position entirely, and normally I'd not have said anything. But the individual in question seems to make a career out of trolling people, then blocking them, including a number for whom I have a high regard. To then see her place herself above the need for courteous engagement and discussion made me see red. I reported the incident becuase I thought it might be of interest to some of those kind enough to read my stuff.

I've never blocked anyone, not even A Mere Hack, whose copied and pasted doomsaying is, I agree, unhelpful to a degree! On a point of principle, I never do. What is the point of an open platform if you then choose to exclude those who differ from you?
