I recall what it was like before the internet. You had to go into libraries and look things up, or search sinister, dimly-lit bookshops for quaint and curious volumes of forgotten lore. Now it's all at your fingertips (yay for Project Gutenberg and the Sacred Texts Archive).

As for all that social stuff, what would a grumpy old git like me want with chat rooms and Facebook?
