I know, I know. When I was teaching FE one young good-for-nothing tried to pass off six pages of Encarta (remember Encarta?) printouts as his essay! Look, I'm not fussy what is taught or how (they forget most of it as soon as they leave school anyway), as long as some work is done on training memory and increasing attention-span. I know smart phones have put the world at our fingertips, but that doesn't help when the fire alarm goes off and you need to remember your designated exit, right? Also (again from my FE days) a 16-17 year old should really be able to pay attention for a full one hour session, but too many of them couldn't.
A nicely-turned phrase, certainly, though a little too crude for me to use in writing! I do like a well-turned phrase, even if I can't always manage one!
