I knew he was ill - he talked about it in some of his last posts. My grandfather had similar issues and they can take you down very fast. So I wasn't exactly shocked by the news, rather simply saddened.

It's odd, you know. He lived in Leicestershire, I live in Coventry. Not so far apart, but we only ever communicated online!
