I just disable it, along with Cortana. I have Alexa on my Kindle Fire but rarely use it.

My daughter has Alexa devices in her home. The other month, my oldest granddaughter was doi9ng homework on the Ancient Egyptians and neither she nor Jen could figure out how to pronounce 'Tutankhamun' properly.. Jen says, "Let's ask Alexa!" Millie replies "Can't you phone Grandpa instead? Only Alexa might not get it right, but Grandpa will!"

All the tech in the world, and they still rely on a cranky old man and his flaky memory!
