I have said this before, and fear I may have to again. The United States is not, was not and was never intended to be, a nation. It was and is a colossal commercial enterprise with Congress as its Admin department, the wealthy as its Board of Directors and the President as CEO. Its' aim is and always was profit for the Directors, and its' 'citizens' were and are employees.

That is what needs to change, once the current mess is sorted out!
