I flip through the feeds to see if anything catches my eye. I think they try to get you read authors you normally don't. It's a social media mindset where they want everyone to follow and be followed by as many people as possible. What they don't want is people reading the same half-dozen or so authors and nobody else. That leads to new authors bellyaching about not getting reads or follows.

Bloody irritating because there will always be the etermally curious (or nosey) like me who will go through the feeds. Enough at least to give new writers a shot. But if readers can't find their favourites quickly, they will get grouchy about it! An entity bar or 'Favourites' tab (restricted to individuals, not pubs) would be helpful, especially since the Search function isn't all that bright!
