I feel queasy using the term AI, because I don't think these things are actually Artificial Intelligences. In the case of DALL-E, for instance, if it were actually intelligent, it would ask you questions to try to get at what you really want. It would also be able to do, and be interested in, other things than creating images.
In the Mass Effect games they use the term VI (Virtual Intelligence) for such software. Software capable of providing a range of responses within the parameters of its specific algorithms. Thus Alexa can cerform searches for information, set timers and reminders and so forth, but you can't really have a conversation with the thing (Anne and Jen insist on saying 'please' and 'thank you' to Alexa - why?). The so-called AIs of games can't turn round and say "I don't feel like playing today", and it's often very easy to figure out their limitations and beat them.
That said, fascinating review, though I don't see myself using this.
