Hmm. Your best bet for that is the Celtic Chameleon, who is a Glasgow girl. I could help with English (especially Northern and Yorkshire) phrases and dialect, also Rhyming Slang. But my knowledge of Scots. Irish and Welsh phrase is limited. I know that in both Scotland and Wales 'drych' or 'dreich' is a word for dull, cold, drizzly, misty weather. Also 'neeps and tatties' are turnips and potatoes, especially when accompanying haggis! 'A wee dram' pretty much explains itself.

That said, by all means get in touch if you come across English/British phrases, expressions and sayings that interest you, and I'll try my best to explain them and their origins.
