Hmm. In comments, and comments on comments, I have been accused of both fascism and communism (by different people), as well as sexism and racism.

On the whole, I reject 'isms', and never swallow anyones' ideas or ideologies whole. I have my own ideas, based on experience, a lot of reading, and a lot more thinking. They don't all fit comfortably on either a right or left wing 'menu'.

So I appear to stand outside any possible consensus - there will always be something I disagree with.

I do wonder if there are any other awkward gits like me around anymore?
