Generally speaking, these days, it's just Anne and I on Xmas Day. The kids and grandkids come round on Boxing Day and it's chaos!

Obviously, Theresas' mum has first dibs on her, Rik and James for Xmas Day. Jen and the girls tend to come the same day because it saves Anne doing two big dinners in a row. Also, it means the kids effectively get two Christmas Days because we save their presents under our tree

Thing is, Lottie and James bring out the worst in each other - more tricks than a cagefull of monkeys - and the racket can sometimes get to poor Millie, who we think might be autistic. So we've set the boxroom up as a quiet room/safe place for Millie if she needs it and the other two know they're to leave her alone if she goes in there.

Things are never simple, but we adjust!
