Funny thing, but I've read many of the same texts you have (Bible, Qu'ran, Bhagavad-Gita, Tao-to-king etc), only to come to the conclusion that there is not, never has been, and never will be, a god of any kind.

The physical Universe is deterministic, amoral and unconscious. Reality is not the Universe, but only the part of it we can perceive, and much of what we perceive is altered by the concatenation of memory and learned behaviours we describe as 'consciousness'. Therefore the so-called 'divine' is merely the result of human consciousness, not of the actions of an actual being or awareness that transcends that of ordinary intelligent beings.
